Pesticide Use May Be A Major Factor In The Decline Of Bees


A recent study published in Nature Sustainability found that pesticide use may be a major factor in the decline of bee populations within the United States.  All families of bee species examined were found to be negatively affected by pesticides, including those critical for crop pollination.  In some species where there was high pesticide use, the likelihood they would be present in that area was reduced by 40 percent.  Read more here
